Speckled Purple and Grey Eyes

Every time I try to do a lighter look, it always ends up pretty dark.  This at least stayed some what light.

Primer - UDPP
All over lid, base - bareMinerals 1980's shadow, a nice shimmery grey.
Blended lightly over top - one of ScaredyCatCosmetic's pinkish-purple shadows
Outer v and crease - Fyrinnae's Arcane Magic shadow, Alchemist's Curse.
Blended just above the crease, and highlight - Sugarpill's Tiara
Liner - Urban Decay Perversion (pencil)

Then I just used the side of a mascara wand and speckled the lid.  Pretty happy with how it turned out.

Makeup Post #1 - Crazy/Classy Makeup

I've been trying to take decent pictures of makeup since I started really trying to learn how to do it.  This is not exactly what I envisioned when I started, but I ended up with a very David Bowie-esque look that I quite enjoy even though it is still pretty amateur looking.

As you can see, one side is "classy" with just some of the same dark blue used on the "crazy" as an eye liner

I used UDPP, Fyrinnae's Pixie Epoxy, 4 or 5 different blue-based ScaredyCatCosmetics colours, 2 different Fyrinnae colours (the sparkle!), regular crystal mica on the classy eye, black Maybelline Eyestudio Lasting Drama gel eyeliner, and black Maybelline Flare Falsies mascara.

Fyrrinae is *AMAZING* - don't be put off by the long TAT.  It is so worth it.

ScaredyCatCosmetics - an independent cosmetic company - I haven't played with them too much.  I got samples of all of their eyeshadows.  So far I don't really like some due to pigmentation, and I love others (namely Nevermore, the dark blue used above).
